CommitCRM fails to terminate sessions.

In CommitCRM Ver 5.1.0.1 CommitCRM fails to terminate user sessions before running backup.
Any fixes for this?

Hi netlor,

Thank you for reporting this. This first backup step basically creates a in \dbsys called RangerMSPStop.ini. this file is used to signal to all the client applications to disconnect from the database.

This disconnection process may be taking a little longer than expected, so I suggest waiting between 2-5 minutes after you’ve completed step 1 of the backup process, before you continue to step 2, to ensure that all the client applications have disconnected.

In any case, I know that the internal backup utility is currently being looked at in our labs due to similar reports from a few other users. Thanks for letting us know about this.
