Does it work with Google Apps?

Hi; just heard of CommitCRM tonight and am curious if the email connector will work with Google Apps? I searched the forum and the wiki and did not find an answer.

I've downloaded the software and run serverconfig.exe; in the Outgoing Mail Server Settings I've added smtp.gmail.com and tried both 587 and 465 as ports (as suggested by google here: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...n&answer=78799 . Checked the "requires auth" box, added my un/pw and clicked test.

Using 587 as the port, I get the following:

RequestDone Rq=11 Error=500 Authentication Type could not be determined.
Error, Application Stopped

Using 465 as the port, the test box just stays at "Connecting to SMTP server..."

Thoughts?

use this:
aspmx.l.google.com
port 25

UNcheck authentication (no logon)

we just got this working on our CommitCRM server.
