    RMA Tracking

Does anyone here know how to track RMA's and Loaner equipment?

    Re: RMA Tracking

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting this.
    • RMA's - We suggest starting an account for your supplier that you can issue charges and back-charges to, in the event of an RMA. This will allow you to keep tract of which charges have not been paid or credited by your supplier by marking the completed RMA's as Manually Billed.

    • Loaner equipment - This can be covered by setting up an Asset to represent the Loaner you issue to your customers. In order to easily be able to review a list of all loaner equipment, we suggest starting the asset codes for these assets with a character that represents a loaner (i.e. L). Later when you filter the assets list to the Asset code L, you'll have a list of all assets that start with the letter L in the Asset code.

Let us know if this helps.

    Regards,
    Rinat

That is a great idea for RMA tracking, We were using spreadsheets previously. Yet another way CommitCRM can be used to make our life easier. The admin will love this idea.
