We track our overhead time to various tickets now. But the charges are currently all showing up as billable by default. This then clutters up reports on unbilled charges.
Rather than having each teck unclick the billable box, I have thought of creating a fixed price dummy contract. I would have to give this contract a very large fixed amount, say $1,000,000, to avoid the charges running over the fixed amount and forcing the techs to always override that they went over the maximum.
Anybody got a better idea?
