Customer Alerts

Hi,

Does the alert server need to be configured to send customer alerts? If find it a bit confusing between internal alerts and customer alerts. They seem to be two different things. When configuring alerts using the alert server, it only specifies internal alerts...

Thanks for posting this.
The ServerConfig.exe side of the configuration is shared between the RangerMSP Alert Server for Customers and for Employees, since that's where you set up SMTP. The preferences regarding each of these features have separate tabs in the RangerMSP client application, and are not dependent on each other in any way.
