migrating CommitCRM to new server

ok, so I am having issues running it on an xp box and am ready to migrate CommitCRM to a sbs 2003 box. What steps do I have to make to make this successful?

Do I have reinstall all updates since I purchesed the product of can I go straight to 5.4?
I have paid for webinterface for employee, quickbooks connector, email connector & alerts server do I neew to down load any files for these?
