SMS via Skype or another provider

Is there a way to send SMS messages to customers via CommitCRM interface?

I use skype and have this linked to a mobile phone which I also use to send SMS (as it is faster to type a sms than use my mobile!). If I could integrate skype sms this would be great!

If not, can I add this as a feature request.

Dialing with Skype can be done with RangerMSP's Online Services feature.
You can learn more about it in this forum thread.

I'm not sure how the Skype SMS feature works, however, it is likely that it can be implemented using the same approach.
