    Restrict Customers from Editing Tickets

    Is there anyway to allow customers to VIEW tickets but not to EDIT them?

    We are having a problem with customers going into their account and changing the status of the ticket. Sure we can tell them not to do that but there isn't any reason they should have access to this anyway.

    How can we shut off the EDIT link for CUSTOMERS only?

    We may help and customize the Tickets Web pages for you to prevent Customers from editing Tickets, this will be a global setting though that will affect all customers.
    Or, we may help with removing the Status field completely from their Ticket Edit. As we need to customize some of your system files please contact us directly in case you wish to proceed in this direction.

        You have control of a lot of stuff what customer can or cannot do (for example whether they can or cannot see billing information when logging into the Customer Web portal). However, by default customers can edit their Tickets and we can help in disabling this when required.
