    Inactive Contacts

    Is there any way to hide a contact or mark a contact as inactive?
    Once an employee leaves a company, I would like to get their name out of the system, but I have found that deleting contacts causes problems with tickets and assets.

    Hi BryanP,

    We're looking at the option to add such a status to secondary contacts. Note that secondary contacts are selected for Tickets, Assets, Charges, History Notes, etc. and therefore deleting them will break the links to them. Until their be full support for secondary contacts status you can simply add a "zzzzzz" in the beginning of the contact names you want to set as "inactive". It may help as it puts all inactive Contacts at the end of the list making it much harder to select them by mistake.

    (Update from RangerMSP Team: Starting with version 6.0 Secondary Contacts can be marked as Not-Active and hidden from the Contacts selection lists.)
