Re: RangerMSP and vmware
There shouldn't be any issues running RangerMSP client on a virtual machine and we know for a fact that many users use it with VM. Anyway, maybe something with the specific VM configuration or privilege settings cause this. Unfortunately we won't be able to help much with this...
Hope this helps.

Re: CommitCRM and vmware
The problem was with vmware server. Once we switched to vmware workstation, it all worked.

Re: CommitCRM and vmware
Our CommitCRM server is a Windows 2000 VM (don't laugh - it was cheap!) running in VMware Server on our SBS2003 machine (P4 2.8, 2Gb). We are probably going to put CommitCRM onto our SBS2011 box when we migrate from SBS2003 in a few weeks. Report performance is currently poor, so we expect this will improve!

Re: CommitCRM and vmware
Report performance may still be poor unless you have the CommitCRM SQL plugin. That was the biggest thing we noticed when we added it.
