I have a few contracts assigned to a particular company. I would like to set one as the default so that the technician doesn't always have to choose the contract. Can you direct me please.

Accounts, Contracts tab, right click the contract you want to be default and hit "make default" or something like that... I think!

It actually does, I just checked. go to accounts -> contracts -> right click and there's an option that says "default contract". Go to that and then choose "Selected contract is default for this account".
