I know the number of users is "unlimited" for Interlink, but how does that correlate with the CommitCRM users? For example if I have 5 users licensed in CommitCRM, could I have more users on Interlink?

No. Interlink licensing will let you have as many users as you have CommitCRM licenses. You can only add users to Interlink if they are active and licensed in CommitCRM. If you manually added users to Interlink through the database that weren't in CommitCRM, any transactions they submitted would fail to go into CommitCRM. Let me know if you have any other questions.
