Opportunity - Convert to Ticket

Feature Request - link Opportunities with Tickets, Contracts and Quotes

To really be useful, each Opportunity should be capable of containing multiple Tickets and multiple Quotes.

The Opportunity feature seems like an island in its current implementation.

If we have sales people and CSRs entering Opportunities, we need to be able to convert those opportunities without re-entering data.

Please consider adding this functionality. Thank you.

Thanks for posting this suggestion.

As you may know, Opportunities can currently be converted into Tickets, Contracts, Tasks, and more, via the Opportunity's More Actions drop down menu. It would definitely be beneficial to be able to convert an Opportunity into a Quote or link it to a Quote, and we have this request on our list, so I added your vote to it. Thanks.

Note that making each Opportunity capable of containing multiple Tickets and multiple Quotes is a different story - the Opportunities in RangerMSP are designed to manage your sale process. When the sale is won, you can then convert it to an action item, such as Ticket, Contracts, etc.

We would really like to be able to see the flow from opportunity to quote - to convert an opportunity to a quote or link it to a quote. Currently an opportunity is isolated in respect of other functions, there is no follow-through from enquiry right through to installation. Please add us as 'vote' for this implementation.

Got that. Thanks. Using the 'More Actions' drop down of the Opportunity you can convert it to a Ticket, Asset or a Contract. Having said that we do understand that you referred to additional options. Thanks.

Please put my vote in also, if we could just link the opportunity to a quote. All of the tracking/task/appointments and follow up is in opportunities but not in quotes.

Starting with RangerMSP 10 Quotes can be created from the Opportunity and existing Quote can be linked to the Opportunity.
