    Internal Tickets

We have a need to track all work we do internally for ourselves. What is the best way to handle this inCommitCRM.

    Re: Internal Tickets

We set up a block of tickets contract for ourselves with an astronomical number of tickets. Then we just run the tickets like any other.

        Re: Internal Tickets

        Hi circle,

Thanks gyus, this is indeed how we suggest to go about it.

        And in more details...

In order to track work you do internally for yourselves, we recommend that each employee will log such jobs as Labor Charges under your own business account in RangerMSP.

These charges should be marked as 'Not Billable' since you just want to log their hours, and not bill a customer for this time.

You can also set a dedicated Item code and contract for internal work, to make it easier to track.
For example, under your own business' account, create a 'Block of Time' contract with a large number of hours or ticket, so you don't reach its limit, and call it 'Internal work'. Then instruct all employees to log time they spend on internal work as charges under this contract. It can also help you generate various reports the summarize employee logged times.

        I hope this helps.
        Dina
