status extension filed --

we recently discovered the status ext filed -- awesome!!

is there a way to get this filed to show up on the main "general" tab?

is there a way to get CommitCRM to auto clear this filed when the ticket is closed?

Indeed it is very useful.

While you cannot add it to the General tab remember that it can be listed in the list of Tickets, and, you can create your own general tab (using the customization feature) and place any system fields you want on it. It cannot be cleared automatically on ticket close.
