document backup

using CommitCRM backup it states that documents are not backed up. We are attaching more and more documents within CommitCRM. How do we make sure that these documents are also getting backed up?
Also, has CommitCRM created any type of usefull apps yet?

RangerMSP Document records are stored within the RangerMSP database and it is backed up. However, the Documents' files are stored as standard files on your servers. These files should be backed up like any other file you have on your server and nothing special is required, except for having your backup program to back up these folders.
