Accessing CommitCRM Web via https on iOS 6

Has anyone else had any issues accessing the CommitCRM Web Interface via https on iOS 6. It was working fine on iOS 5, but since my update, Safari tells me "Cannot establish a secure connection to the server." Chrome browser on the same phone works with no problems. Computers work with no problems (haven't tried Safari on an actual computer though)...

    Any ideas?

Re: Accessing CommitCRM Web via https on iOS 6

Just an update... Safari on a Mac running 10.8 loads the same site with no problems. Safari on the iPhone on iOS 6 gives the error message:
"Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server."

      Same here. Any solutions?

We're not sure what is causing this. Anyway, please try to use another Browser and see if that helps.

Thanks for the note. I'll get back to you if I find a solution. I know iOS 6.1 is nearing release... we can hope for a fix.

Chrome on iOS 6 does load the page, but after you login, you have to "cancel navigation" and then reload again, and then the actual page will load. If you don't do this, then it just sits there forever trying to load the page.

Did you try Chrome pre-iOS 6? I'm wondering if all the blame can be laid at iOS 6's feet.

I did not use Chrome pre-ios 6. ...only downloaded it to try to fix issue with accessingCommitCRM.

Personally, I think it is something with commits web server, but I can't prove it. ...I'm not, however having any issues with any other SSL sites.

                Who is your certificate signer?

I'm trying to find out. To my untrained eye... I don't think we use a certificate.

Go to your site in a browser and click the lock button and view the certificate.

My URL Host Manager says "The primary root ca is installed inline with certificate". I don't see the lock button in either Safari 5.1.7 or Firefox 17 on the Mac.

I'm reading a Google search on 'SSL certificates and iOS 6'.

Has this been resolved? Did you try to import the cert to the keystore?

No - still having the problem. Not sure how to import a cert on an iPhone?

I know you can export an email cert from the Mac's keychain, then email it & install the email cert on iOS.

But I don't know if this will help with our web issues...
