I am currently evaluating your software and have read that you will be coming out with a new version in a few weeks. If I purchase before the release of the new version do I have upgrade rights for a specific length of time?

Yes, if you purchase now, before the official release of the next version, you will be entitled of the upcoming version upgrade for your purchased licenses.
