How to disable check for updates

Every morning I start CommitCRM CRM 6, it checks for updates and the GUI freezes for about a minute until the message pops up telling me 6.1 is out. Once i dismiss the message it is OK for the rest of the day.

This is very annoying. You should figure out how to program the update check to not take so many resources, or make a dismiss for 30 days button on it.

How to disable check for updates?

Sure: Tools > Options > Other tab, unselect the option 'Check for version updates'.
