    Contract

    Our customers have annual contracts. With the items we have defined the various types of contracts (software, technical support, etc..) The "Price" of the item do not use it because the monthly fee varies for each customer. Instead we use the "Custom Price" of the contract which for us is the monthly fee.
    And 'possible to have consolidated reports on "custom price"?
    For example have a total monthly fees broken down by type of contract

    The Custom Pricing feature lets you configure different prices per customer (or per customer' Contract) and the prices/rates will then be taken automatically when Charges are logged.
    Custom Pricing on its own, however, does not represent what the customer pays, it's just a reference to automate things so you won't need to remember the special price agreed with each customer. What does affect and represent the price are Charges. As you refer to Contracts and their 'price' you should use Contract-Price Charges to bill for Contracts. Then, print any of the Charges report to get a detailed (or summarized) details about the prices used to charge your customers.
