This is a pretty cool new feature (there are a lot of cool new features in 6.2!) but is limited in what it can do becuase it only goes one level and an asset can only be a sub once.
Wondering why we can't daisy-chain asset linking (asset A is a sub of B and B is a sub of C, etc.). This would allow us to use the linking feature to track vendor contracts much better. For example, Microsoft contracts are renewed every three years. The process involves creating a new asset because the contracts are "physically" different however they link from one to anther in a chain (this is just how it works).
Is there any way we can get CommitCRM to allow asset linking in a chain?
thansk!
