We created quite a few custom fields, used on custom tabs added to our CommitCRM application. Without fully understanding how the "Subject" type of a custom field affected the location of the field on the CommitCRM Web Interface Account Record, we have fields with two different "Subject" types that need to appear under the same heading in the CommitCRM Web Interface. Is there any way to change the "Subject" type of an already-created custom field so these fields will be listed under the same Subject heading in CommitCRM Web Interface? I have about twenty fields that I need to change.

Thank you for posting this. Unfortunately the Subject on custom fields can't be changed after creation, they would have to be deleted and recreated with the new Subject. Note that the data will be lost when those fields are deleted.
The reason is that the Subject created in custom fields results in physical changes to the database rather than just data inserted into the existing table structure and so there is no easy way to change that once created.
