CommitRMMServer not a valid Win2 Application error

    Hi People,

Have only recently started using CommitCRM so my apologies if this is a known issue.

I am trying to activate the GFI CommitCRM link but when it comes to installing the CommitRMMServer service I get the following error:
    "C:\CommitCRM\RMM\CommitRMMServer.exe is not a Valid Win32application."

    The scenario is:
    *Single PC (no client Server)
    *CommitCRM Ver. 6.1.0.1
*Have ensured Command Prompt is running as administrator
*Have tried adding run as administrator and the -install switch to the properties of the .exe and running it from there.

The only thing I can see may be a problem is that the CommitRMMServer.exe is 0kb in size.

    Anyone got any ideas.

    Thanks

    Mick

Re: RangerMSPRMMServer not a valid Win2 Application error

The RangerMSPRMMServer.exe file certainly should not be 0kb so it has become corrupt somehow. You can have a look in your RangerMSP\LastVer folder to see if there RangerMSPRMMServer.exe file there is ok (ie. that it is not 0kb) and if so just copy that and overwrite the bad one. You may also want to run a virus scan just in case that is the reason for the corrupt exe file. If the file in LastVer is also corrupt then please send us an email and we'll send you a new download.
