Sales Tax issue

[Northbridge]

I am having an issue with sales tax being added to labor items. I have checked and I do not have the labor item marked as taxable in items.. What am I missing here?

Thank you for posting this.

In case you refer to default taxes for new Items, please go to Tools > Options > Charges & Items and look for the checkbox for Default Taxes for Items - make sure that is not checked. Please note that this setting is for all Item types (Labor,Expenses and Parts) and also this will not affect on existing Items.
You may also want to check the default taxes for new Accounts which you can see on Tools > Options > Accounts.

If you refer to items in Quotes which had taxes removed but still show then you need to recalculate the totals for the Quote by going to Quote > Tools > Refresh & Recalculate Taxes for Quote.
