Assets Query.

Hi All,

When adding a whole bunch of assets I have some that are already in Commit from a previous time - i add the file and cannot get it to overwrite any old assets so end up with duplications, has anyone experienced this or knows how to rectify it?

When importing existing Assets will get updated when the Asset details in the file you import refer to an existing Asset in RangerMSP. The matching is done based on the Asset Code field. So, if the file includes the Asset Code details and you match it to the Asset Code in RangerMSP, the the system always try to locate an Asset with that code (and then edit its details) and only if it cannot find any, a new Asset is created.
