Don't Delete Tasks

Hi,

We as a business would like to use your Tasks feature in CommitCRM to assign work to our internal employees, however we would like to be able to monitor the tasks, and would like the task not to be deleted whenever they are completed. Maybe if they could show up with a line though them or appear in a different color compared to the new ones.

Normally when a Task is marked as Done the system will either suggest adding a note to the History or open a new History Window or nothing will be done and the Task will just be gone. You can configure which action the system takes by going to Tools > Options > Calendar > On Done. Once a History note is added you can view it in the History tab for the Account and also on the main History window which shows all events.

For larger tasks you could also perhaps use Tickets instead of Tasks.

This is a HUGE problem with tasks... adding history notes is fine but they absolutely should not auto delete (have them grey out or something similar as LiveTechs suggests).

We stopped using tasks because of this "feature" -- having them auto delete made them useless to us.
