Incoming SMS Text messages

we want to be able to use SMS text messages. We have a gateway and a incoming number that copys incoming SMS to email.

Can CommitCRM identifiy and create a message based on the telephone number within the message?

update, the incoming email comes from email address customersnumber2@textmarketer.co.uk

Customer number 2 is the mobile number i have on file, if this helps

Thank you for posting this.

There is no rule to identify a customer account by the phone number, however you could add that email address [customersnumber2]@textmarketer.co.uk as a secondary contact in each account and then it will work as normal when the email arrives.
