    Request: Enhance Ticket Selection on Charge

    We're finding the ticket lookup on a new charge to be very cumbersome. Looking through a giant list of tickets when doing a new charge can be a daunting task. Usually the ticket we want is at the bottom as it's the newest. A few things would greatly help:

    1. Allow us to filter the ticket list when doing a new charge in the ticket drop down by whether the tickets are opened/closed.
    2. Allow us to sort by ticket number.
    3. Default to showing newest tickets first instead of oldest first or at least allow us to change this in preferences somewhere.
    4. Allow us to set the default filter when selecting a ticket to bill to all 'open' tickets. 95% of the time we would never link to a closed ticket - by default we don't want to see closed tickets but it might be nice to allow us to show those as well. If I had to choose I'd rather not even see closed tickets and have to add a charge by going to a closed ticket directly.

    While we're at it, it'd be really nice if we could split charges between two tickets or cross-bill one account with a ticket from another account but those are much more minor in terms of our workflow than the above list.

    Thanks for posting this. All sounds like good ideas.

    Our current recommendation is to use the double-arrow drop down of the Ticket selection field. This drop down lets you quickly select recently selected tickets, so it can be very handy. Besides, you may select the Account first, and then only its tickets will be listed in the drop-down (same double-array button/trick with Account selection).
