    Incoming email connector question

    When a client sends an email to the public email address via connector why isn't their email/name displayed in the email? It has support in the from: field.
    Is it possible for incoming support tickets to display who they originally cam from?

    The sender email is always the public email address, i.e. support@. The sender name is shown from the original sender (if exists). Probably in your case the client has no sender name.

      I would like to revisit this issue because I have more time to look into it.
      What you stated is not happening. All of the support emails we get appear to come from "Support"



      How do we get it to show the sender name instead of support?

        Customer replies are sent to the public email address and are filed under the ticket in RangerMSP, in addition RangerMSP sends an email notification to all staff involved notifiying them about the customer reply. The sender of that notification is the email connector, not the customer, and as such it is displayed. There is no way around that.
