    User & Data Security

Wondering about a few items as we deal with compliance and security here:

    - does CommitCRM support dual factor authentication?
    - does CommitCRM allow for any type of encryption between client and backend database?
    - does CommitCRM allow password expiration/aging?
    - does CommitCRM allow for us to force a user to change password on next login?

    Re: User & Data Security

RangerMSP Windows client does not deal with data encryption over the wire as it is either used inside of your LAN or remotely over a secure VPN connection, encrypting it further might have resulted in slower performance and as it runs insider your LAN or over VPN it normally shouldn't be required. With two factor authentication I suspect that you refer to the portal, but in any case it isn't offered at this time. In regards to the other points, while a system admin can change any user password, it cannot be forced on users so they'll change it themselves. Thanks for asking, we've already taken a few notes!
