    Change default ticket priority

    Hi,

    Does anyone know if there is a way to change the default ticket priority?

    ​Unfortunately no. Each new Ticket defaults to the 'Normal' priority and the user can change that should it be required.​

      Hi Commit, sorry to drag this one back out of retirement. We want to implement the priorities:

      Emergency
      Critical
      High
      Normal
      Low/Project

      Unfortunately, not being able to change this default or making it blank, mandatory is causing issues with tickets being defaulted to High. I know I can train the ticket loggers, but being able to just change this would be really helpful?!

        Ticket Priorities can be renamed (this wasn't supported in the past), however - the default priority for new Tickets is 'Normal' and unlike most other Ticket fields, you cannot change the default for this field. We will take another look into this. Thanks.

          Being able to change the default or making it a field the engineers have to complete would be ideal if it's a simple change!
