    I would like to deactivate a user as they no longer work here however we are wondering if this would directly affect any charges that the user entered previously.

    Deactivating a user has no affect on Charges entered under this use. It will only remove the user from the list of active employees (e.g. the user won't be listed in the user/employee selection lists). You will still be able to see the Charges they've entered, generate reports with their Charges, etc.
