Can you have an automatic labor item come up based on the account with regard to charges on tickets?

Yes, when using Contracts you can set up a default Item for Labor Charges, Part Charges and Expense Charges under Contract Details tab, then as soon as you add new Charges for Tickets under these Contracts the Item is selected automatically for the Charge based on the default Item set to the Contract.
