Exporting custom fields

I regularly use the filter to select accounts by custom fields but now need to include custom data that can be exported to excel and sorted on the custom field. What would you suggest?

Answer

You can export the data using Advanced Data Export from Accounts menu-> Import and Export or by from the drop down list of the Export button on the toolbar.

In the first step of the export wizard you can select to export predefined system fields as well as custom fields and even save the list of fields as a template and use it again in the future. On the second step you can filter and sort the accounts to be exported - in the same manner it is done via Advanced Filter.
