Is there a way to set recurring charges for clients I have a group of contract clients that are billed the same amount every month ?

Yes, you can create Recurring Contracts. You just create a Contract for the first month and then copy it to the next date range - you can do a batch copy and you can copy for multiple months in advance. You can also use Contract-Price Charges
which can be copied together with the Contract to automatically bill the customer for the new contract.
