Data Export Default 'Save to:' location

I often export data from Commit into Excel. Every time I export the default 'Save to:' location is CommitCRMDocuments. I select 'File name:' as this is not something official I want to keep.

Once 'File name:' is select it defaults to the root of the C:\ drive. Microsoft Windows 8x does not allow of this out of the box (nor will Windows 10).

Is there a way to change the default 'Save to:' to be my desktop or a network share?

Currently the default location for the exported file cannot be modified. We will take a note on this.
