    Online services and DNSstuff.com

Here's some ideas on how to use Commit's online services.

MX record lookups, WhoIs lookups and much more...

    1) Open IE and sign into your paid DNSstuff.com account leaving the option to remember your sign-in checked.
    2) Open Commit, under you account/client website enter just domain name, i.e. yahoo.com no WWW. Then click on save for the account.
    3) Click on Online Services, then click New
    4) Name it MX Lookup, or anything of your choosing.
    5) For the base URL enter:
    http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/lookup.ch
    6) For the URL parameters enter:
    ?formaction=DNSLOOKUP&name=<CMTLBLDATA_FLDCRDURL1> &type=MX&server=&detail=0
    7) Leave Active checked and click on OK.

Now back to the account test it out.

    For WhoIs lookups:

    1) Click on Online Services, then click New
    4) Name it WhoIs Lookup, or anything of your choosing.
    5) For the base URL enter:
    http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.ch
    6) For the URL parameters enter:
    ?ip=<CMTLBLDATA_FLDCRDURL1>&server=
    7) Leave Active checked and click on OK.

Now back to account test it out.

I'd love to hear other ideas from others in the group, thanks.
