Intergration with Sage Line 50 Accounts

We are based in the UK and Sage is the leading account package over here.

Please can you tell me if there are any plans to integrate with Sage Line 50 and if anyone else out there thinks this would be beneficial.

    Kind Regards,

Re: Intergration with Sage Line 50 Accounts

    Hello Scott,

As you may know we currently integrate with QuickBooks UK (and US, Canada). We may integrate with Sage in the future.

At the moment, you may consider integrating with Sage Line 50 using RangerMSP's and Sage' export/import options, or using our ODBC and API options.

    Import & Export
You can import Accounts into RangerMSP from various data sources such as Excel and CSV text files. Go to Tools > Import & Export > Import Accounts. This will start a wizard that will help you select the data source, match the fields/columns in the data source to the relevant fields in RangerMSP and to import the data.

The same import method works for Items. You can import Items into RangerMSP after exporting them from Sage. Note that the Item Code is the key fields here meaning that if you import the Item once, and then, after a while, perform another import – if the system finds an Item in RangerMSP that has the same Item code like the one in the external data source RangerMSP will update the Item record rather than create a new one.

To transfer data to Sage Line 50 you can export RangerMSP Accounts, Items and Charge records to Excel, CSV etc. and then import them using with their tools in order to create Invoices for the Charges fromRangerMSP. You can learn more about importing and exporting data in RangerMSP here.

    ODBC/API
Note that we may also offer more advanced options which allow you communicate with RangerMSP's database and to develop your own way to link to Salge Line 50 according to your own needs.
ODBC lets you access the database (for read-only) and read information from RangerMSP's database tables, such as Account information, Items, Charges, etc.
The API allows you to add/update records in RangerMSP's database, so you can add Items, Accounts, etc. and use them for Charges.

    I hope this helps.

We have just released a BETA version of a product aimed to import your invoices from CommitCRM and send them to Sage Accounts 50.

You can download the BETA version from http://www.smartitsoftware.co.uk/pro...-for-commitcrm

We would appreciate any feedback you can give us
