    Disable "Complete"

    Hoping to disable the "Complete" ticket button for most users, allowing only managers to review/close tickets. Can this be done?

    While there is currently no option to prevent users to change ticket status to completed, it is possible to remove the Complete button from the toolbar in the Tickets window by changing the settings under Tools > Options > Tickets (Admin) tab and unselecting the option 'Show the Ticket 'Completed' button on the Tickets toolbar. The users will need to mark the ticket as completed by selecting the status manually or dragging the ticket to the status tree or using the link 'Complete & Close Ticket' on the right side Actions pane.

    Please note that this is a system setting and will affect ALL users. Again, it does not prevent this option but rather force more steps to achieve it.

    We will also log your suggestion about avoiding users from closing tickets.

      We asked for this yearsssss ago. The only option available is to stop people from closing tickets with no charges.

        Indeed, you can configure the system to block and prevent users from closing Tickets that do not have any Charges logged. Thanks for sharing this.
