Renaming contracts

I have created a couple or contracts for clients but would like to rename them. Is there a way to do this so the records are updated? I want to update the contract code - i tried under general and then code, but that does not allow me to make any changes…

Renaming the Contract Name is easy - you can simply edit the field and modify the name.

If you wish to change the Contract Code, this is a more sensitive field, and therefore it can be modified only via an advanced option. In the Contract window, you can right-click the Contract Code field, and select Change Contract Code. This will allow you to set a new code and will update all relevant places in the system.
