    Kaseya Integration

Have any other Kaseya users attempted to integrate Kaseya alarms to CommitCRM tickets? Having reviewed the beta API documentation it seems like the process is possible at least one way from Kaseya toCommitCRM. The problem seems to be feeding data back into Kaseya to sync the CommitCRM record id, or close alarms based on closed CommitCRM tickets.

It seems like it would also be possible to push audit data from Kaseya into Commit, with the same backward sync issues. It should be possible to work out synchronization using email2db and writing directly to the Kaseya MS-SQL which is non-supported of course.

We are in the process of deciding CommitCRM or Connectwise. Time frames will not allow us to wait for the Kaseya MSP release fromCommitCRM. Just curious if anyone has had success?

    Re: Kaseya Integration

We currently use the CommitCRM API and the ODBC option to link CommitCRM with our other system.
Using ODBC it was quite easy for us to develop a program that pulls data from CommitCRM (contacts, tickets and assets) and feeding the data back to our system (home built MSP like application).

Overall the process was quite easy, I find that the database table structure CommitCRM uses is straight forward and easy to understand (we have contacted CommitCRM support with a question or two but that was it). I like the fact that you can query each CommitCRM database table and ask to receive only updates/inserts that occurred after a specified time (this helped us achieve good sync performance).

      Re: Kaseya Integration

I'd be interested how many other CommitCRM users are using Kaseya or N-Able.
We are in the process of selecting a product like that; and we're looking for feedback.

We are using N-Able but have yet to try to pair the 2

          Re: Kaseya Integration

FYI - in our coming release (version 4.4) we will integrate with some MSP products (N-Able and Level Platforms) based on the RangerMSP Email Connector module. This module allows you to process incoming Emails and automatically create Ticket for them. You may be able to configure this tool to support also other MSP products. You can read more about the RangerMSP Email Connector module on our web site here.

                Re: Kaseya Integration

As mentioned above, in our coming release (version 4.4) we will officially integrate with N-Able and Level Platforms. Kaseya will not be officially supported yet in the MSP support version we are about to release. We do plan to support this though, as we know this can be helpful for many users. As mentioned, the MSP support is based on the Email Connector tool, which created tickets out of incoming emails in various formats. If Kaseya allows flexible setup of the email alerts format and "from" address, you may be able to customize it for your needs and use it with Kaseya already (with our coming release).
