Disable Opportunity Module

How do I disable the opportunity module or make it so nobody can use it or make it so nobody can see it?

Once or twice a month someone "forgets" we don't use CommitCRM for CRM and puts something in there that really messes things up.

Thank you for posting this.

Although there is no permissions to fully avoid creating Opportunities, you can try to hide Opportunity icon by moving it to the 'hidden' part of the mane navigation pane. This should be done by each user:



In addition, it is possible to hide the Opportunity tab under the Accounts:

We should be able to hide the module or restrict access. Hiding the tab under accounts only goes so far.

Moving the module to the "hidden" part is something that I have to do on every computer?
That isn't saving me any time.

Possibly a waste of time since they can just hit "show hidden".

Is this my only option??

You can configure it from all users from your PC, log in as them to configure it.
