    Archiving old Client Data

Hi, Do we have a way to Archive old client data that we don't need any more?
    Thanks

    Re: Archiving old Client Data

    Thank you for posting this.

The recommended way is to change the Account status to 'Not Active', as a result, by default the Account and linked Secondary Contacts will not be listed in various lists, however - you will still be able to opt to see them in case needed.

It is also possible to set Asset status to Not Active.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply. I have currently changed them to Not Active but I want to purge the data to reduce the database size as its really old and the clients are out of business. Thanks

        Feedback noted and you're welcome.
In regards to database size - FWIW this is normally neglected and does not have much effect unless we're speaking about a huge number of records. Thanks!

We have over 37,000 tickets, 30,000 assets and 4,000 customers. No issues here with speed. We are running the SQL version.

We have 159,367 tickets, 8,000 assets running the SQL version and do have perodic speed issues.

A purge function would be nice!
