Default Charge to Current Time

Is there a way to set it so that the start time of a Charge is automatically defaulted to the time the Charge was Created? Also it would be nice if there was a way to click a button and have it enter the current time into the end time of a Charge.

Thanks for your suggestions. If this helps, you may consider creating the charge from appointments, which will copy the appointment start-end time. You can do this from the appointments list or from the calendar by right-clicking the appointment, and selecting the Charge Appointment option.
