Using ([urlmp=/wiki/Online_Services[]online services/urlmp]) you can have one click access to warranty status for your Dell assets. We setup a custom field for service tags, as we support Dell's mostly then setup online services for easy one click access to the warranty. Here is the format:
Name: Dell Warranty Check
Datasource: Assets
Base URL: http://support.dell.com/support/topi...s_info/details (note link, not actual text. URL is being auto shortened on this form)
URL Parameters: ?c=us&l=en&s=gen&servicetag=<CMTLBLDATA_FLDASTUSER 3>
(where FLDASTUSER3 is, replace with the variable of your field for service tags)
