Step 1 – Check which version you currently use.
The version number is displayed as part of the application title bar (See here) as well as under the Help About dialog window (See here).
Step 2 – Upgrade to version 25 first (If needed).
In case you use version 24 or below, first download and use this program to upgrade to version 25.
Step 3 – Upgrade to the latest version.
This step assumes that you already have version 25.0.0.0 or above installed.
To upgrade to the latest version (30.0.0.5) download and use this upgrade program (~56 MB).
1. Download the RangerMSP Upgrade Program using the link listed above.
2. Run the RangerMSP Upgrade Program on your server while logging into Windows using a privileged user and follow the online instructions.
In cases where access to the server is not an option run the RangerMSP Upgrade Program from one of your workstations instead. Please use a workstation where RangerMSP client is installed.
3. All RangerMSP Windows clients installed on all workstations will be upgraded automatically.
