Distorted PDF Print outs

When i print out an invoice as a pdf it looks horrible and grainy.
Is there something I can do about this or is it a known bug?

As far as I recall we haven't received similar reports. All printed forms should be printed nicely. In case you are referring to a customized report then it's possible that the local configurations that were set to it are incorrect or the image/logo that was embedded in not in the correct resolution.
