How does the financial information get from RangerMSP to QuickBooks since only an invoice is created? Will QuickBooks still see the cost of the items?

The QuickBooks Link transfers data between QuickBooks and RangerMSP using the QuickBooks API. All your Items and Accounts can be easily sent from RangerMSP to QuickBooks (or Imported from QuickBooks into RangerMSP).

When new Items or Accounts are created in RangerMSP you can simply sync those with QuickBooks which will create appropriate records for them in QuickBooks, including the Item, and create links between them.

Once links have been created between Items/Accounts in RangerMSP and QuickBooks you can generate Invoices in QuickBooks based on your Charges in RangerMSP.
