QB Sync | Link items

When an item we want linked isnt, we choose "link item to qb service item"

When we do we are told this item is already linked. We choose show us linked item and all it does is bring us to the top item in the list which has nothing to do with that we are looking for.

Why does this happen?

Try to show all Items in the list (un-select "Hide suspended Items") and then perform exactly the same steps.
Probably the Item linked to a parallel Item in QuickBooks is marked as Suspended and therefore is not shown.
