I was running into the same issue with Continuum sync stopping randomly. It seems to happen quite often for a day/week, then be good for several weeks, then start over again. I wonder if the server that CommitCRM talks to at Continuum has some issues and sometimes passes blank/invalid responses to CommitCRM, which then stalls till service restart.
